Driver Education (DE) events fill up fast !

New !  Acadia Region Driver Education is open to non-members (some conditions apply)
We will also be incorporating a vintage run group, subject to interest, for the June 24th date.

 

Taste of Driver Education at AMP was held on June 24th DE Day ! 
 

2025 Driver Education Dates at AMP

MONDAY, May 26th 

TUESDAY, June 24th

These PCA-sanctioned schools teach Driver Education using PCA qualified instructors and members' own cars. Super fun and educational, DE provides participants the opportunity to experience their Porsche's exceptional level of performance legally and in a safe environment. A great way for PCA members to develop or improve their driving skills. For all driving levels. 

 

Events are held at Atlantic Motorsport Park, a challenging, technical track that has the added advantage of being close to home for many of our members. Driver Education includes classroom time, but the emphasis is on in-car instruction while driving on the track.

Available for June 24 DE Day Taste of Driver Education is a program that lets those not ready to take their own car to DE to experience the AMP circuit as a passenger in a car driven by one of our experienced instructors. This includes an overview of the AMP circuit, classroom time, and lunch with the group. It really is quite an experience and this is an excellent way to become introduced to our DE program.

​PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TECH FORMS NEED TO BE COMPLETED NO EARLIER THAN 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

 

Registration is limited. Register early to avoid disappointment!

NOTES:

• There are only 15 Green spaces and 15 Yellow spaces available in each run group.

• There will be 2 other run groups: Red for Advanced and Black for Instructors.

• Vintage/Classic Porsches will be paired with instructors in their own group, at a moderate pace comfortable for the cars and conditions.

• Price includes DE long sleeve shirt and lunch.

• If you have a Track Daze hat & t-shirt from a past year, bring it along!

• Vehicle Tech Inspection is required for each event and must be done by a certified mechanic.

• All entrants must be registered through our registration system.  If you have any difficulties, please contact us.  Those not registered will not be permitted to participate.

• Non-driving instructors welcomed at no charge. Registration form must be completed for each event instructing.

• Payment required in full with registration.

• Please ensure you arrive at track on time.  If you miss the driver briefing, you will not be permitted on track.
